BOPHUT :

Located in the north of koh samui, it is "fisherman village" and beautiful beachfront hotels. Very friendly to enjoy, restaurants and 'fisherman village' steps. This area is lively, small concerts every night, many small modern shops and trendy bars, nice bars and many restaurants. You will find largest market on the island on Mondays and Fridays.

MAE NAM:

It's quiet neighborhood with small market on Thursday nights. Located in the north of koh samui, west of Bophut. Some restaurants and massages make the neighborhood live.

Beautiful boutique hotel 'Hacienda beach resort run by a French man, located directly on the quiet mae nam beach, good restaurant.

CHAWENG:

It is the most lively and tourist area of koh samui. Many bars on the beach, fire shows, modern music, electronic, reggae ... Atmosphere very friendly. Nightclubs open until late at night!

Chaweng beach is a long nice beach.

Many shop next to the chewing main street.

For dining, we recommend the "pasta house".

The south of Chaweng (poppies resort, no worries) is quieter than center (ark bar, Chaweng resort).

In Chaweng center you will find "central festival", a biggest clean and modern area, many trendy shops, sports shop, banks, ice cream maker, coffee, games room and cinema. (Click on pictures to enlarge).

CHOEN MON:

It is a very nice area of koh samui located in the north east, nice beach, there is a small market on Wednesday evenings, many restaurants and bar very welcoming, some concerts, massage shop, lively neighborhood and quiet ! You will always find taxi to drop you. Lovely place to stay few days, at the Imperial hotel boat house resort for example.
